Gladiator, whose real name is Kallark, is a powerful fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. He is the praetor (leader) of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, a multi-ethnic team of super-powered warriors.

Kallark is a Strontian, a race possessing immense strength, speed, and durability. His powers are directly linked to his confidence and belief in his invulnerability; doubt can weaken him significantly.

Gladiator first appeared in X-Men #107 in 1977. He has been a frequent adversary and occasional ally to the X-Men and other Marvel heroes.

He is known for his unwavering loyalty to the Shi'ar throne, even when it is occupied by questionable rulers. Gladiator's appearance is visually striking, resembling Superman, with a flat top haircut and a regal demeanor.
